The Story Behind Our Club

The Little Ship Club was established in 1951 and is based on a two hectare site at Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island. The fully licensed Club has all the amenities one would expect, with the ability to serve in excess of 250 meals in a sitting by using both the indoor and covered outdoor entertaining areas. Currently the Club has in excess of 1,000 Members.

The Little Ship Game Fish Club was established in 1975 and is the second oldest Game Fishing Club in Moreton Bay. Whilst under the umbrella of the parent body, the Club is fully autonomous and has made a valuable contribution to the overall affairs of the parent club. Our tournaments have always had a reputation amongst anglers as being well run, very friendly, with quality meals, entertainment and facilities being provided. Over the past ten years, the tournament has been amongst the three most popular in the State.
